N5 vocabulary

The eight hundred N5 words are the ones of daily life: eat, go, house, water, today. Learning them with their usual particle rather than bare saves half the work, because in Japanese the verb rules the particle: 会う takes に (友達に会う, to meet a friend), 乗る takes に (電車に乗る, to board the train), even though Spanish or English would treat both as direct objects. And some words come in pairs: 行く and 来る depend on where you are, not where the destination is.
